Handmade in our small studio in Uppsala, Sweden. Every book starts with large sheets of paper being folded and cut down in size by hand multiple times. It is a slow process with no machines involved, and every step of the making and design process in treasured and carefully thought through. Our production is small and every book is unique.
Carefully handcrafted books made with the Secret Belgian Binding method and covered with our own original marbled paper and olive green book cloth. Truly one of a kind books!
These note/sketch books opens completely flat thanks to its genius binding technique - a helpful feature for those who want to take pictures och scanned images of their work without bulging shadows in the middle of the spread, or simply enjoy running the hand over a flat page when working. The cover boards can be flipped back 360 degrees.

Paper quality This Papyrus MultiDesign paper is our personal favorite. It has a thickness of 130 gsm and is certified by FSC, EU Ecolabel, and ISO 9001 and 9706 (archival approved). It is a slightly cream toned, uncoated paper which has the perfect "light" feeling under the pen. It is equally suitable for writing and sketching, and absorbs ink and aquarelle paint well.
