This paper (meaning Carta in Italian) comes from northern Italy (the city of Varese) is made on high quality 100 gsm smooth acid free paper. It is perfect for bookbinding but also gift wrapping, paper craft and origami. Many patterns in the Carta Varese catalogue has roots in the Renaissance era. The blue pattern, Sunflower, is a William Morris design från 1879.
