This Austrian linen thread is manufactured small scale and made with high quality, long flax fibres. The colored threads are dyed carefully through so called 'reactive dye' which forms a tight bond between color and fibre, creating a thread with excellent color fastness.
This thread is perfect for bookbinding, as well as embroidery and lace making.

We recommend coating the thread in beeswax before use in book sewing, and always threading the needle at the end where the thread was cut from the spool.
